An extension of the Mokolo Regional Hospital, the Mokolo Regional Hemodialysis Center is the first facility in the region specialized in the treatment of renal failure. It is equipped with ten (10) dialysis stations, allowing it to accommodate an average of twenty (20) patients per day.
MISSION OF Menla’ BET
Menla’ BET carried out the architectural and technical studies for the project. The detailed study of all the necessary disciplines for the optimal execution of the project (Architecture, Civil Engineering and Reinforced Concrete Structure, High-Current Electricity, Low-Current Electricity, Sanitary Installations, and Water Treatment).
Architecture
Blood purification is an essential function performed in the body by the kidneys. The architecture of the Mokolo Regional Hemodialysis Center is naturally inspired by the kidney, the organ affected in the target population.
High voltage electrical systems
Sizing of the electrical installation of the building.
A specifications document based on the requirements of each piece of equipment in the care chain (water treatment unit, dialyzers, air conditioning) helped define an electrical architecture that complies with standards and is consistent with the functionality of the building.
Low current electrical systems.
The safety of people and property is crucial and must therefore be controlled during the design phase of the project. For this purpose, the facility is equipped with a video surveillance system covering both the exterior and internal circulation areas. It also includes a fire detection and safety system.
Sanitary installation and water treatment.
Design of rainwater (EP) drainage systems, wastewater, and sewage systems.
Design of potable water supply networks.
3D modeling of the layout of the reverse osmosis water treatment room.
